I even have flights based upon altitude and distance of the flight. Doing this shouldn't affect your aircraft settings including whether or not you want to see shadows or reflections, use a 2d or 3d cockpit, etc. Many controlers with instruments get the same data I would need. and set it for that flight before you start the flight. If something like this is not out there already I must make it ems like it should be possible. Commercial pilot and especially ATP were not as difficult for me. It is the hardest checkride in the sim It is even harder in FSX:SE since autopilot for it is disabled compared to boxed FSX. Go to your FSX main folder and create a text file in that folder then add the follwoing line: start /high fsx.exe save the text file as start-fsx.bat the doubleclick the file to start FSX in High Priority mode which gives higer CPU resource to FSX over all other processes. It is definitely passable in its default settings. On any other heading the panel is too dark to see anything clearly. MSFS has lessons, but not enough to help you with the FSX Instrument checkride. I have a Toshiba Encore2 write (8inch) and it just so happenes to fit perfectly on my desk right by the throttle quadrant when my flying stuff is set up.seems like it would be perfect spot to display the crafts most vital instruments.įigured Id pop in here first, see if maybe anyone has heard of an app already out there to do this? I would like to display the Altimeter, horizon bubble, and air speed at least, more if I can. The instrument panel is virtually unreadable unless the plane is heading north, or near to north. ![]() I must say, they add so much enjoyment to FSX.now I want more!Īlready found some nice rudder peddals with toe braking Im gonna order. I recently purchased a Saitek ProFlight yoke system, nothing to fancy, just yoke and 3 lever quadrant.
